Cross-Border Support Assignment Platform

Cross-Border Support Assignment Platform

Overseas support requests lived in email or paper forms—season, client, and time slots were scattered; assignment conflicts were checked manually; work reports and expenses were handled separately. We built a cross-border assignment platform with demand forms, conflict checks, work reporting, expense settlement, and directory integration—from intake through settlement in one UI.

Relevant if you manage cross-border assignments with conflict checks and directory sync—and need post-assignment work and expenses on one platform.

Outcomes

End-to-end assignment workflow

  • Core modules 4
  • Identity 目錄整合

Scenarios & highlights

  • Group coordinators log overseas demands, set preferred time slots, attach files, and manage only their group's cases
  • Assignment staff place internal/external resources, run conflict checks before save, then send assignment notifications
  • Assignees maintain work notes and attachments, and review expenses with billing rates

Challenge

1. Overseas support requests were logged via email or paper—season, client, location, and preferred slots were scattered, making group/season queries inconsistent. 2. Assigning internal or external staff required manual date-range checks—conflicts were easy to miss. 3. After assignment, work notes, attachments, and expenses were handled separately—assignees and coordinators could not track progress in one place. 4. Accounts must sync with corporate directory; rank or group changes should update permissions automatically, not manually.

Solution

Built an ASP.NET Core cross-border assignment platform: centralized season, client, location, time slots, and support type with group-scoped cases; conflict check before assignment save, then notifications and Excel export; assignees maintain work notes and attachments; expenses with rank-based billing rates and Excel I/O; corporate directory Web API auto-provisions accounts and roles by rank.

Results

Demand intake moved from scattered forms to centralized online management—coordinators track seasonal cases by group in one UI. Assignment conflicts shift from manual comparison to system checks—save is blocked with prompts to adjust staff or slots. Post-assignment work, files, and expenses link to the same case; email keeps stakeholders aligned. Permissions follow directory Web API—roles and activation update when rank changes.
