HR KPI Performance Management
Annual KPI reviews span many dimensions; scattered spreadsheets made roster updates and template tracking hard, and cross-department access lacked controls. We built a KPI platform with staff master data, Excel template publishing, import/export, and score reports—so departments consolidate review data in one place.

Outcomes
Multi-dimensional KPI hub
- KPI dimensions 4+
Scenarios & highlights
- — HR or system admins maintain the org tree, import annual rosters via Excel, and publish KPI templates
- — Department coordinators download assigned KPI files, upload completed forms, and status updates in-system
- — Managers or HR staff query scores within their org unit and download Excel summary reports
Challenge
1. Annual KPIs span individual performance, firm contribution, business unit, and department metrics—scattered spreadsheets make definitions and calculations inconsistent. 2. Departments must refresh rosters yearly; manual entry is slow and format errors surface late. 3. KPI files publish by year and department; managers need visibility into download and return status. 4. Department heads should see only their unit—cross-department query and download must be restricted.
Solution
Built an ASP.NET Core KPI platform: tree-based org maintenance, Excel roster import with format validation; publish KPI templates by year and department with download/return tracking; department-scoped score reports to Excel; corporate directory login and org-unit permissions.
Results
Performance data moved from scattered spreadsheets to structured master records—dimension scores and totals share one source for queries and reports. Roster updates shifted from manual entry to validated Excel import with header-row error feedback. Template publish and return tracking replaced email file swaps—staff see download and upload progress in-platform. Cross-department access is scoped by org unit—managers cannot browse other departments.
